Our Team and How We're Structured

Our firm is growing and that means our structure is evolving as we expand our team. In simplest form, we have attorneys and we have support staff. Everyone works together to ensure the success of every client matter we undertake.

Support Staff

Attorneys

Currently, we have only one member of our support staff – our front desk receptionist. You will most likely interface with reception when making your first appointment or when reaching out to the firm by phone during business hours. We are presently looking for our next front desk receptionist as Lori has moved on to other ventures.

We are also looking for an assistant to support the estate planning and administration practice areas. If you know of someone who shares our passion for estate planning, please send us their resume!

At present, there are two attorneys on staff in the firm: Don Shaw and Neomi Hilsenrath. We both chose estate planning as our primary area of law because of our passion to help people and their families. We are currently in the process of bringing on two intake attorneys who will help conduct consultations so we can help more people.

Don is the founder and owner of the firm. He serves as the managing attorney and notes appearances in court on behalf of clients. Don manages the guardianship practice area.

Neomi is our senior attorney and manages the estate planning and administration practice areas of the firm. Her exceptional grasp of complex estate planning concepts and excellent management skills make her a valuable member of the team. The high quality of the estate plans we produce are a direct result of Neomi’s hard work and dedication. She is truly a talented attorney. As second in command, Neomi has full authority to “make the call” when Don is unavailable.

Our intake attorneys are onboarding soon and we will be providing more detail in the near future.
